But expertise is only half the story

Over the years, she discovered that her favorite part of nursing wasn't simply caring for patients.

It was advocating for them.

Helping people understand what was happening. Making sure their questions were heard. Finding a path forward when healthcare became overwhelming.

That realization ultimately led Leah to create Garnet Patient Advocacy.

The Garnet Promise

We always remember there's a whole life behind the scenes.

This health crisis may be demanding your attention right now, but it's not the only thing in your life. Our job is to help carry some of the healthcare load so you can keep being you.

Start with a Conversation

Garnet represents protection, courage, clarity and guidance. In uncertain times, that's what we strive to provide: a steady partner who helps you understand what's happening, find your way forward and feel less alone in the process.

You can handle it.

You just don’t have to handle all of it.

What is a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA)?

BCPA is a credential earned by those who have studied and passed the official certification exam to determine their abilities and fitness for serving patients and their families who need assistance with some portion of their journey through the healthcare system.

While Board Certified Patient Advocates can have many backgrounds, choosing an Advocate with a medical background is the optimal partnership in healthcare.
